HI,so i used my laptop till this evening it was all fine and running perfectly but suddenly when i went out and came back ,used the laptop it got shutdown suddenly....then i turned on the laptop by plugging in the charger...it is showing empty battery....

then i checked hp power management ,there it is showing battery need service and replacement. it was fine untill today it has a battery shelf life of 98%.

Laptop name:Hp probook 450 g8 notebook pc

2yrs since purchase

pls guide me

Not sure what you mean by battery shelf life. 2 years is a bit short but not an uncommon battery life span. Best advice is to replace the battery. If you want more analysis please post the advanced results from the battery diagnostic test.
