HP Laptop - 14-fq0057nr
Microsoft Windows 11

Laptop has a lighted keyboard but does not have capability to light keyboard.  Key board is silver and keys are silver.  Cannot see keys when using the keyboard.  Any suggestions?

Purchase an external USB or Bluetooth keyboard that is made to your preference.

It’s a shame that HP used a keyboard that is designed to be lighted but didn’t include the internals to light the keyboard or use a non-lighted keyboard.  I solved the issue completely by buying a thin silicone keyboard cover with traditional black keys to place over the silver-colored HP keys that are extremely difficult to see.  It fits perfectly, feels perfect, looks exactly like a traditional black keyboard, prevents spills on the keys, can easily be removed/cleaned, and purchased from Amazon for $6.95!  Why has nobody mentioned this solution in the thread?  I doubt I will ever purchase another laptop from HP.
