m.2 SSD on 15-ak002nl

but I have a problem with this 1TB SSD M.2 drive, it's not recognized at all from BIOS and OS

Can you please confirm it's compatibility with my HM Gaming Pavillon 15-ak002nl ?

If not, what specifics should have a compatible M.2 SSD disk?

Hi:

You installed a NVMe SSD in your notebook and in the discussion you posted, the other person installed a SATA M.2 SSD.

The reason the NVMe SSD doesn't work in your notebook is because your notebook's M.2 slot only supports SATA M.2 SSD's not NVMe.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types--SATA M.2 only.

I recommend that you install a Western Digital Blue SA510 M.2 SATA SSD and that should work fine.

Thank you for your quick reply. I thought that "LEGEND 710 PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 2280 Solid State Drive" was not NVMe, my bad.
