Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

 

HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

Note that other forum members with that model series that have installed M.2 NVMe SSD's have reported that the slot is PCie Gen 3.0 x 2 which means the NVMe drive is only going to run at about half of its advertised speed.

 

That is still around 3x faster than a SATA SSD would be.
