Hi! I have a HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b196sl notebook, with HP 18FD Motherboard. BIOS ver F.1D . I have a 500 Gb Samsung 860 Evo SSD as boot disk. The question is if I can add a 500GB or 1TB Samsung 860 EVO mSATA mSSD as my second drive to keep my data on my other partition as aditional storage? I do not need that cache 32 GB acceleration, or to boot from mSATA drive. JUST aditional second drive to store data on mSATA dirve. It's sure my BIOS will permit this to have both disks working as regular disks? (These days mSATA disks are cheaper, aprox. same price with 2.5 SSDs )
I also have 2x4GB of RAM. Maximum ammount of RAM specified in manual. May I add 2x8GB RAM on it?

Your model is a bit older now and I am having problems finding the exact specs but I assume it is a 3rd gen Intel Core CPU. The Manual specifically says 8 gigs is the maximum but a 3rd gen system should be able to address 16 gigs of DDR3L-1600 So-DIMM.
Yes an mSATA added to that slot will be able to be used as storage. Windows will detect it and you should be able to format and mount it in Disk Management.
