Ciao a tutti, fino a poco tempo fa quando andavo sul sito HP sotto Laptop e digitavo il numero di serie del prodotto, apparivano i driver e anche la "HOMEPAGE PRODOTTO" dove potevo visualizzare il manuale di manutenzione della macchina dove erano presenti i codici HP per ogni accessorio composto del quaderno, ora non trovo più questa pagina... qualcuno può indicare dove è stata spostata?

Hi everyone, until recently when I went to the HP website under the "Laptop" heading, I typed in the serial number of the product and in addition to the drivers also the "PRODUCT HOMEPAGE" in this section I could consult the maintenance manual with the drawing exploded view and with all the HP codes of the accessories with which the notebook itself is assembled, now I can't find this page anymore... can anyone indicate where it was moved?

Hi:

There are thousands of different HP notebooks.

Unfortunately no one would be able to help you if you don't provide the full model number or product number of your notebook.

Let me explain better: if you type a serial number on the HP website and go to the "product homepage" page, you can find all the codes of the accessories with which the PC is assembled through the service manual... it's a guide created specifically by HP. ...it is a FRU... and is customized for each model and serial number of all notebooks produced by HP

I am aware that if you enter the S/N of the notebook in the search window at the link below, it will provide a product number and a model number as well as a list of major parts and HP part numbers for that model.

Then when you want a service manual for that model, you find one that is typical of this one.

There aren't any others that I am aware of and I have been a member of this support community for over 13 years.

But if you do not provide the model number of the notebook you want a service manual for, I don't know how you expect anyone to help you when there are hundreds of notebook service manuals out there.

If the notebook you are wanting the manual for is over 10 years old, HP retires support for all consumer PC's and takes down the support site for that model series.

ok that's what I'm looking for, for example in this case I have a model 15-dw1080nl id 28k29ea with s/n:cnd1024dzn and I have to replace an LCD panel...first I went to the HP site and got the exact codes as there was a link to the maintenance manual ...now this link is not available on that page ...I wanted to know if it is possible to access from another location

You're very welcome.

When there is no manual on a specific model PC's support page, you can usually find one on the base model series' support page.

HP 15-dw1000 Laptop PC series - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

Apparently, HP does not have a service manual for the actual 15-dw1000 models but has the link for the 15-dw0xxx model series and I assume that means you can use most of the same parts, and the disassembly procedure is the same.
