Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there is no way to determine how large a capacity NVMe SSD you can install.

 

Theoretically, the sky's the limit as long as the memory chips on on a single side of the SSD.

 

HP does not have a service manual for the 15-ef2000 model series available.

 

The one they refer you to is for the older 15-ef0xxx model series.

 

According to chapter 1 of that manual, HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 512 GB in the model series.

The Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook indicates that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB for that model notebook.
