Chapter 1 of the service manual on your notebook's support page indicates the max memory is 12 GB.

 

HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n013dx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

 

I don't see any reason why the notebook should not support 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

 

Even the Crucial memory report indicates the notebook will support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

HP - Compaq Pavilion 15-n013dx | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com

 

Two of these chips should work.
