HP 15s-Eq2028ur (3C8P7EA)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I want to upgrade my notebook. But

How many RAM supports my notebook (16, 32, 64)?

Or better if I can see the list of supported memory.

Model 15s-Eq2028ur or 3C8P7EA

Hi:

Unfortunately, HP only has the service manual for the older model series on your notebook's support page.

HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 IDS Base Model Manuals | HP® Customer Support

According to chapter 1 of the old manual, your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

You can can do this to see how much memory your notebook can support...

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity and hit enter. There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
