Hello I will like to know if my HP 15 Notebook with a Celeron n4000 processor can be upgraded to an 8 gigs or memory ram and if Yes I will like to know the type of memory that I will need to get for the upgrade process

Hi:

 

Yes, your notebook has one memory slot, and the slot will support an 8 GB memory chip.

 

So, you will need to remove the 4 GB memory chip and replace it with an 8 GB memory chip.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info.

This should be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook:
