Does hp 15s-du1004tx support Kingston HyperX Impact 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 CL15 SODIMM Laptop Memory (HX426S15IB2/8)?

Well the specs say it uses DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM but HP notebooks are not set to use "performance" or "gaming memory" to its full potential. HP will use CL=19 standard OEM modules and that HyperX is CL =15 which is faster, but the HP motherboard will not allow that latency setting. So even if you install the HyperX it will run essentially just like OEM memory like Hynix or Crucial or Samsung. So no point in spending money for the faster memory.

I install the Kingston HyperX ram into my laptop already, but there is another problem. the speed shown is 2400Mhz, but both of the RAMs are 2666 Mhz.
