hi,

 

i have a HP Pavilion 15-b119wm Sleekbook running Win8.1 x64. I have 2 questions: whats the most memory i can install and what type of memory i need

HP Recommended

Up to 8 gigs (2 x 4 gb modules) of DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM. That is low voltage 1.35 volts, 

 

Service Manual 

 

This model is very hard to service. You must remove the motherboard to access the RAM slots. See p. 49.

This Timetec memory sold by amazon is a good choice:
