Looking for the specific kind of headset and microphone plug-in configuration for my laptop, because the mic isn't working, even after updating the drivers and troubleshooting the mic updated the Windows audio. I'm using a Universal headset with a four ringed prong, the last one for sale anywhere in my city! I was made aware that the mic prongs can have three rings, with each ring running a specific audio function, and the last ring runs the mic. If I can find the right configuration, I can order it before my next remote staff meeting. I would rather not have to suffer through testing an assortment of headsets, because the tech stores will just hand and sell. I can't seem to find the information regarding the correct headset config, or even if HP sells their own headset for this laptop. The web is full of problems regarding the mic and I haven't found any concrete help. It should not have to be this difficult, I bought this laptop for Christmas 2019. It's not even broken in! Thanks, M Spey

For business, I highly recommend the following one
You can also use USB-C version, same price.
