in my task bar manager it shows ram slot 1 out of 2 , but when i opened my laptops lid there was only 1 complete slot for ram and other slot wasnt soldered just there was spacing for that slot , wt could i do for that

The memory slot is not missing in error or manufacturing defect.

 

Notebooks with the Pentium and Celeron processors only have one memory slot and the max memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

One non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slot (Intel Pentium and Celeron processors)
DDR3L-1600 single channel support
DDR3-1333 Dual Channel Support (DDR3L-1600 downgraded to DDR3L-1333) (for Intel BayTrail-M)
