Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Yes, your HP Laptop 15-dy2762wm (7P340UA) can be upgraded with 2 x 16GB of DDR4-2666 PC4-21300, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks. You could use DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz RAM sticks, but the RAM speed will be throttled down to 2666 MHz.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

Hi:
There is no service manual for your notebook, so the memory upgrade specifications are not available.
The only manual HP has for the model series is this one for the older 15-dy0xxx model series.
Chapter 1 of that manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC
You can run this command to confirm how much memory your notebook can support:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once the command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
