HP Notebook - 15-dw0043dx
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I have my laptop that I would like to upgrade, I was wondering if there was a motherboard and cooler that I could upgrade to while using the same laptop chassis. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

According to the specs, the best compatible motherboard for your HP Notebook - 15-dw0043dx (5VR72UA), has p/n: L51994-601 "Intel Core i7-8565U processor and 4 GB of GeForce MX250 discrete graphics memory".  You likely also need an upgraded heatsink (assuming that your laptop is not fitted with a discrete graphics card), with p/n: L52032-001 "Heat sink, discrete graphics (includes replacement thermal material)".

You can purchase these upgrades (assuming you don't already have this top motherboard -please verify) via eBay:

Heatsink: https://www.ebay.com/itm/375009174786?hash=item575049e502:g:23EAAOSwtatlN4q6&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4M....

Motherboard: https://www.ebay.com/itm/394727583870?hash=item5be798f07e:g:0GgAAOSwW~Nkp7qG&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4E....

Mind you, this is going to cost you north of $300.  I am not aware of any better performing motherboard beyond the one I mentioned that would be a fit in your laptop chassis.  And even in the remote chance if there was, it would likely cost you (a lot) more than the parts I just referenced.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
