hello,

I have a msata ssd and I want to connect it to my hp 645 g4 laptop>
How do I connect it (alongside the main ssd) or alone ?

Your model only comes with a 2.5" SATA slot and M.2 slot.

HP ProBook 645 G4 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

A mSATA disk physically doesn't fit in the M.2 slot, so it's not possible to install a mSATA internally in your notebook.

 

You can connect a mSATA to your notebook via a USB to mSATA adapter.
