HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 15-dq1010ca doesn't have a right control key, and it's missing another key but I don't know the name of that key.
It also has multiple function keys (all of the top number keys) and 7 others (not counting the F keys).
I use the right control key about 50 times a day and this is ridiculous not to have it. There wasn't any mention on the product details that it was a weird keyboard layout.
There are no instructions for any of these multi-function keys. There was no manual included.
There are no instructions on any keyboard shortcuts that replace the control c and v.
Support gave me this link http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06531359 but it is for service providers and not users. And it says "On select products, the f5 action key turns the keyboard backlight feature off or on" but on my laptop it's the F4 key. So, what use is it to me when it's not even accurate for my laptop. Where is the user manual for my model? And it doesn't mention the ctrl keys or anything like that.
I just tried the Volume Mute button which this manual (mentioned above) says should be lighted (as it was on my previous hp laptop) but it isn't. And when I press it, it does mute the volume but brings up a window that says "Online video library".
Why does it do that?
It's still under warranty. Can I get them to replace the keyboard with a normal one?
This is a real pain and it won't work for me.
Please tell me what the solution is, and quickly please.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Could you please share the picture of the keyboard?
- Have you tried using the On-screen keyboard?
To open the On-Screen Keyboard
Go to Start, then select Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard, and turn on the toggle under Use the On-Screen Keyboard.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
