Hi @Aron2430

Welcome to the HP Support Community! Thanks for posting your query!

We're here to help you get back up and running.

I hear you, and I understand how concerning it must be when the computer won’t turn on after a software installation and only points you to that link.

Before we move into any corrective steps, let’s gather the right details so we can isolate the cause clearly:

  • Could you confirm the exact HP product model (for example, HP Pavilion, HP Envy, HP Omen, etc.)?
  • Was the software installation related to Windows updates, HP drivers, or a third‑party program?
  • When you press the power button now, do you see any lights, fan movement, or display activity at all?
  • Did the computer shut down during the installation, or did it complete and then fail to restart?
  • Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11 on this system?
  • Have you connected the computer to power directly (without battery or docking station) to check if there’s any change?

These details will help us determine whether the issue is tied to the operating system, the installation itself, or the hardware startup process. Could you share a bit more about these points so we can narrow down the situation?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
