hp omen 15-dc1077u
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I noticed this in the game when the fps started dropping to 30-20 for short periods of time. Then I checked the temperature through the OMEN COMMAND CENTER and CPUID HWMonitor, and my fears were confirmed: the GPU is heated to 55-65+-, and the processor to 90+ degrees. I cleaned the cooler from dust, but it didn't help, the laptop is a little less than six months old. I can't understand what the problem is, since I play not demanding games and before he almost did not warm up in them at all. Also, when I run just in the background discord, steam and browser, the temperature is kept around 50 degrees on both the GPU and CPU. What is the problem and what can be done about it?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating when you play games.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp108501-109000/sp108803.exe

Intel: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp102001-102500/sp102185.exe

Nvidia: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99501-100000/sp99570.exe

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Sooooooooooooooooooo.... I did all what was in the reply, but it made it worse. while I was waiting for an answer on the forum, I googled my problem again and came across a similar solution, only for an older hp omen model. there was also a file with some kind of update (I don't remember exactly), and it helped. This lowered the average load temperature to 80 degrees (10 degrees lower). however, after completing all the steps from the answer on the forum, everything returned to its original state, the computer is heated to 90+ degrees. How can I fix this?

Follow the steps in the below article and perform a system reset on the computer and check if it helps.
