If you have not used the laptop much since deleting there is software you can get to recover deleted files with some success. They are not really deleted the links to them were just taken out of the "table of contents". But if the sectors where they were stored get written over it then becomes very hard to recover them. Also sometimes if its a solid state drive they are completely erased on deletion. This article tells how to do it with a feature built into recent versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11. I have never used that feature but have had pretty good success with an app called Recuva.
