@savir, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding laptop issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your laptop's right Shift key not working. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches.

Update Keyboard Drivers: Make sure the keyboard drivers are up to date. You can do this by visiting the device manager in Windows, locating the keyboard, and selecting "Update Driver."

Check for Software Issues: Ensure that your operating system is updated. Sometimes software glitches can affect hardware functionality.

External Keyboard: As a workaround, you can use an external USB keyboard to continue working while you troubleshoot or wait for a repair.

Hardware Check: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem. You can try to carefully remove the keycap to check if anything is stuck underneath or if the mechanism is damaged. However, I would recommend doing this only if you feel comfortable and confident, as it can lead to further damage if not done properly.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
