@RishulDhiman, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Microphone Issues on HP Pavilion 14-dv0000 with Windows 11!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your microphone is not working on the HP Pavilion Laptop PC 14-dv0000 running Windows 11, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Check Microphone Access

Ensure that apps have access to your microphone:

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
  • Make sure that the toggle is turned on to allow apps to access your microphone.

2. Sound Settings

Verify that your microphone is not muted and is set as the default device:

  • Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sound settings.
  • Under Input, ensure the microphone is selected as the default and check the volume level.

3. Driver Update

An outdated or incompatible driver might cause microphone issues. Update your audio drivers:

  • Open Device Manager (you can search for it in the Start menu).
  • Expand Audio inputs and outputs.
  • Right-click on your microphone and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

4. Troubleshoot Audio Problems

  • Go to Settings > System > Sound.
  • Under Input, select your microphone and click on Troubleshoot.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
