- Make sure that the toggle is turned on to allow apps to access your microphone.
2. Sound Settings
Verify that your microphone is not muted and is set as the default device:
- Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sound settings.
- Under Input, ensure the microphone is selected as the default and check the volume level.
3. Driver Update
An outdated or incompatible driver might cause microphone issues. Update your audio drivers:

- Expand Audio inputs and outputs.
