Please help!   The silver box that allows me to use my finger to move my cursor around is somehow locked and has a yellow light on it.   I can't seem to figure out how to unlock it!!

Double-tapping the yellow light should turn the light off and the touchpad on.

Hi,

Your machine has On/Off button as shown:

Please use your finger touch (or quick double touch) to the area (#3 above) to turn On or Off the touchpad.

Another way to turn on/off the touchpad is as below.

1. Open Control Panel and use icon view

2. Click Mouse

3. Click Clickpad settings tab

4. Click Enable/Disable clickpad

5. Click Apply

6. Click Ok

Please see the picture.touchpad.PNG

The number 3 is pointing to the led you are referring to. Double tapping on it will help you lock or unlock it as required.

Also, you can refer to the MSG of Probook 640 G2 for any other reference.
