HP Recommended

my turbo boost is activated on my hp 640 G2 i5-6300U. but my laptop CPU is still around 2.3GHZ. my base cpu speed is supposed to be 2.4 and with turbo boost  3.0GHZ. i have tried updating drivers, activating boost both on AC and DC yet nothing seems to work.
