Hello everyone. I have a laptop HP ZBook Create G7 (RTX 2070, i9, 1 TB, 32 RAM), it is thin and therefore overheats. Recently the SSD broke (they said because of overheating). Tell me which M2 PSI-E 3.0 or 4.0 does my laptop support. And which one is best in terms of reliability, performance and temperature (will not overheat in my laptop). I am considering different reliable manufacturers.

Hi @helena-k

You can use Gen 4 but the speed will be reduced for a Gen 3 disk. About the brand, in my experience I have a Zbook Power G7 with a Hynix disk that goes very fast and at low temperature.

Thank you. I also heard that Hyunix are excellent in quality and do not overheat. Unfortunately, I can't find them for sale, only by order with long delivery. Perhaps you can recommend something similar?

I have not tried other brands but one brand could be Crucial, I have not heard anything bad about this brand.
