@shanuka_999, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check for BIOS Update

Go to HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3Y5AV) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

Enter your exact model or use auto-detect

Under BIOS, download the latest BIOS update

Install with AC power connected

Restart the laptop

Battery Firmware or Calibration

If it's a third-party battery, it may not fully support all HP smart charging features. However:

You can try recalibrating the battery:

Charge to 100%

Then drain to 0% by using the laptop normally

Then fully charge again (leave overnight if needed.

Also, refer to this guide for further steps: HP Notebook PCs - The battery doesn't charge or power the laptop | HP® Support)

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
