Hello everybody! During the trip, the power supply of my laptop burned down, it was not possible to purchase a suitable one, I had to connect a power supply of another brand of the same power and voltage, of course the power connector did not fit, but I cut it off from the original and screwed it to the new one.... Then the "miracles" began: 1. The laptop starts up, the battery is charged at 100%, but there is no indicator of operation from the mains, and in general the laptop thinks it is running on battery power; 2. When disconnected from the mains, the battery charge indicator drops to 4% (the battery is "fresh" and did not cause complaints) and then the laptop turns off; 3. after such a shutdown, with a connected mains wire, it does not want to start for a long time, but after some time it still turns on. Please tell me what the problem is, maybe the original power supply has some kind of identifying signal for the laptop? And non-HP power supplies cannot be fully used.... I am grateful in advance.
