With the power adapter connected there is no light next to the connector. Adapter will power another computer, therefore is working. Batteries take about 36 hours to charge up. Battery has been disconnected and there is no power to computer. Battery is now reconnected. I've removed the drivers for the batteries and they were reinstalled with a reboot. No change. Are the power charging circuits on the battery board? HP support says I need a new mother board....Roger
