i just had to replace my hard drive because it stopped working .so got a new one and had to reinstall windows 10.after that i found that my ssd drive is longer there in my storage.only thing that appears is the new hard drive and cd/dvd drive. ,
i wonder if there is anything i can do to make the system recognise the ssd again,i would be glad of any assistance
, thank you

I would use the command line utility DiskPart to see if the OS sees the SSD as present at the firmware level.
There is also Windows Disk Manager.
What do you mean by "only thing that appears is the new hard drive"?
Did you open the laptop and replace the legacy hard disk?
Check in the Device Manager to find out which brand and part number the M.2 SSD is.
You can use the SSD's manufacturer's Diagnostics utility to see if the SSD is still useable.
It was a tiny one, at 128GB. I would just replace it with a 512GB NAND SATA3 M.2 SSD.
