@amir24,

Thank you for reaching out to the HP Support community!

Let's try these steps:

Step 1: Check the Lid settings on your PC

  • Press the Windows button search for 'Power and Sleep' settings
  • Select 'Additional Power settings' on the right-hand side
  • Check the Lid settings
    • Check the option 'When I close the Lid'
    • If it is set to 'Do Nothing' then the PC may be running even if you close the lid and hence may hear the fan noise
    • Try changing the Lid settings as required
    • Save the changes
  • If the issue persists, proceed to the next step

Step 2: Update the BIOS and chipset drivers

  • Check the BIOS version on your PC
  • Press 'Windows'Key + 'R' key combo
    • This opens up the RUN utility
    • Type "msinfo32" and touch ok
    • In the "System Summary" check the BIOS version and Date installed
  • Check if there is a latest BIOS version from this link and install the BIOS update, if available.

Open the HP Support Assistant and check if there are any updates available and install the updates.

If you do not see any updates, install the chipset driver from this link

Observe the PC after these changes.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.
