Hi @Ashok151,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP 15s-du3563TU laptop battery is not holding a charge. Here’s what you need to try to fix the issue:

1. Run HP Battery Check

Use HP’s diagnostic tool to test battery health: 👉 HP Battery Check: Fix laptop battery not charging | HP® Support

It will show:

  • Battery status (Normal, Replace, Weak)
  • Failure ID (if replacement is needed)

2. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Unplug the charger and remove external devices.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the charger and power on.

3. Calibrate the Battery

If the battery drains quickly or shows incorrect charge levels:

  • Charge to 100%, then let it drain to 0% naturally.
  • Recharge to 100% without interruption.
  • This helps recalibrate the battery sensor.

4. Check for Swelling or Damage

If the battery is swollen or deformed, stop using it immediately and contact HP Support.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
