It has support for SATA NAND 2.5" SSD products, according the Crucial memory.
According to the Maintenance & Service guide the answer is no NVME SSDm but support for M.2 NGFF (SATA).

Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.
HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in the model series.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types:

If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual and google any of the part numbers for the SSD's you will find that they are NVMe.
