Hello All

Is it HP 3168ngw laptop compatible nv156fhm-n43 LCD

The stock lcd is nt156whm-n42 with 1366x768 LED

and couldn't find an affordable one, so I wonder if it is compatible with nv156fhm-n43 that is FHD 1920×1080.

Page 19 of this document lists the possible displays.

15.6 FHD AG SVA 220eDP Slim PF 798933-009
15.6 HD BV WLED SVAeDPSlimTOP PF 809612-009

15.6HD BV WLED SVA220 eDPSlim PF 847654-002
15.6 FHD BVUWVA220 eDPSlim TOPPF 848085-001

Go to the below site and put in the serial number of your laptop. Look for the display board part number

https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/

It is possible that all 5 of those display boards will be listed instead of the board your laptop has.  It is also possible that none will be listed.  let me know what you find.

This is better:  I  really recommend you disassemble the laptop and look for a manufacturers part number.  Look for LG or Samsung number on the back of the display.

Then go to AliExpress, search for that part number, and see if a display is available.

If there is an HP part number then google it on the internet and at eBay

If your laptop is HD then do not put in an FHD display.  Same for touch or non-touch screens.

The motherboard version may not the chipset that can control the device.

Looks like AliExpress has it but be sure to look at reviews to see how many were return or did not work

The first time I bought from AliExpress I had to take a picture of my drives license and upload it to them.
