You're very welcome.
The drive sizes offered were just what HP offered in the model series.
A 500 GB or 1 TB NVMe SSD would be fine, and yes you can still keep the 2.5" drive installed, but you will need to remove Windows from it and only use it for storage.
When you leave Windows on the 2.5" drive, the notebook will always want to boot from the 2.5" drive first, and not the SSD.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
According to the manual, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's
This would be a good model...
Unfortunately, I would not be able to help you with the excessive heat issues (could be several things), but bear in mind that if you add a NVMe SSD, those run hotter than SATA SSD's, because they are faster, and that will not help your notebook's heating issue one bit.
I recommend you solve the heating issue before adding a NMVe SSD.

is there any restrictions, coz i am planning for either 500 or 1 TB NVMe.
also please let me know if there will be any issue if i keep hard disk + NVMe
i am using this unit for mechanical design software's (3D Software's) also sometimes multitasking.
