My HP Pavilion Laptop 15-CS0059nr, purchased in 2012, has a dead battery. I've looked everywhere (except on the dead battery b/c I can't see how to open it) for a part number or the battery for this model. PartSurfer shows part no: L11119-855, but when I search for it on Amazon, my model laptop is not listed. Help?

You're very welcome.
I am certain that IS the correct part number.
It indicates that in black and white in the HP partsurfer database.

What I can guarantee you that if you buy a different battery part number most likely it will not be the right one.
Sorry, but I can't help you anymore than that.

You can buy a new battery directly from HP at the link below, but it is fairly expensive at $92.81
That battery part number is used in hundreds of different model HP notebooks so as long as you see that part number is referenced for the battery you want to buy, that is all that matters.
