The monitor in my HP omen 15-5010TX has come apart from the lid. I've been pushing it back in for the last 2 months or so, but it is starting to crack.
What would be the best way of replacing the screen?
Can i get a new screen? are they plug and play?
or do I need a technician to do it? also is it possible to get a new lid? (as it was knocked off the kitchen bench by my dog... stupid charging cables. haha)
Cheers for any feedback

Hi,
This is a service manual for your laptop: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04490401
On page 21 there is what components you need such as the display panel kit and the display enclosure. Run those parts on google/eBay/etc to get them. Then on page 47 there is a guide how to replace it. I'd recommend to give it someone experienced. LCDs are always a bit tricky.
