Name & Model:
P/N:
I have tried the ways to do in windows to no success, another way to do it is through BIOS however HP's BIOS doesnt allow this, so im not exactly sure what to do, also i would like to mention after installing the memory every time I boot my pc I have to go through BIOS else windows locks up when loading. I tried reseating the ram and swapping their positions to no avail
note: I upgraded my ram so my pc would run FiveM better however its like i never upgraded it in the first place. Also see some pictures below

Hello @JaosOL
(1) Update BIOS
HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors) | F.13 Rev.A | 13.2 MB | Mar 23, 2022 | Download |
(2) Install HP Support Assistant and update all drivers and check for hardware/drivers issues
HP Support Assistant | 9.7.433.0 Rev.A | 162.2 MB | May 13, 2021 | Download |
(3) Reboot and test again
(4) Go through this big guide to use taskmanager and identify problems

Hello @JaosOL
Please send a screenshot from the task manager > tab 'Details'. Sort by Memory MAX on top.

Hello @JaosOL
OK, now ...
(1) Reboot your notebook, wait until your desktop is fully loaded, wait a few minutes
(2) Don't start any (user) program except Task Manager
(3) Take a screenshot again (same as before)
(4) Add column (CPU) and sort by MAX and take screenshot
(5) Get back to here and post your results
My Comment: Looks like you are using ...
- AVG for antivirus
- Norton Internet Security ( antivirus included ? )
- a lot of bloatware processes running ...
You will have to optimize your system, I can help you.
best regards

Here is the pic of what your looking for. I also already use a memory optimiser whilst using FiveM, I'm mostly looking for how to use the other half of the memory i installed instead of an unnecessary amount dedicated to hardware
