hi
i want to know what is maximum memory of my note book hp pavilion g6 1670 and what type of RAM that can i use..note:installed ram 4 GB and i have empty slot..thx

That is not quite the full model number...should be G6-1670aa where a is letters. Anyway this is the Manual for that model series:
It can take 8 gigs but whether it is DDR3-1333 or DDR3-1066 depends on the exact hardware used. If you have a single 4 gig and an open slot you can add another module just like the one you have and have 8 gigs total. It will not support 8 gig modules to have a total of 16 gigs.
If this is "the Answer" please click "Accept as Solution" to help others find it.
