HP Pavilion dv6-6c79sl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi everyone, i was looking for other upgrades that i could do to my dv6 notebook.

currently i have installed:

8Gb of RAM (4x2) 1333Mhz

250gb ssd

bigger battery.

i was thinking about a backlight keyboard maybe?

high resolution display?

cpu upgrade? (i7 2860qm 40€ or an i7 2820qm 30€) both have a tdp of 45w but the first one is never appeared stock in a dv6 so idk if it’s fully compatible.

my motherboard is a 17FD

i have the i7-2670qm and a radeon hd graphics 7470M wich is the cause of a lot of truble (driverswise) with win10.

i saw that other tried upgrading but were persuaded that the costs are too high but now that i can find cheap hardware and i have lots of time why shouldn’t i? 🙂
