i have hp pavillion gaming 15 laptop dk2xxx, it came with 512 gb of nvme ssd, i already had 1tb sata m2 ssd so i tried inserting that in the laptop but my 1tb ssd is not showing, when i insert it in my laptop i won't show, but when i connect it externally via enclosure, it shows

Hi:
Only NVMe SSD's were supported in the 15-dk model series.
That is why the SATA M.2 SSD will not show up when you install it in the M.2 slot.
HP only has the service manual for the older 15-dk0xxx model series on your notebook's support page and as you can see, even the older models only supported NVMe SSD's.

If you want more internal storage, you will need to install a larger capacity NVMe SSD.
