Hi @bkhan136,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP ENVY x360 15 might be experiencing a power or hardware issue. The blinking power button light typically indicates an error or failure, with the pattern of blinks providing a specific code. A single blink could indicate a range of potential issues, including problems with the motherboard, memory, or power supply.

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot.

Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then try powering on again.

Check for Error Code:

  • The blinking power button light may be part of an error code. Look up the meaning of the blink pattern in the HP documentation for your model. Usually, a single blink may indicate a RAM issue, but it’s best to confirm.

Reseat RAM and Storage:

  • If you're comfortable opening the laptop, try reseating the RAM and storage (SSD). Sometimes, loose connections can cause these types of issues.

Check the Power Supply:

  • Ensure your charger and power adapter are working correctly. If possible, test with a different compatible charger.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
