Hey everyone,
I was having trouble with the power port on my DV-6000 so I opted to repair it for fun and to save a replacement cost. I. only use it to surf, and yes, I know it is largely out of date but it served its purpose. I was doing fine until I had to reconnect the wi-fi wires (I believe?). I even took pictures as I disassembled but not for where they connected, a grey and black small wire. Attached are photos. Any opinions? Thanks for any help.where do they attach?
where they originate
I thought they were the 2 nubs top-center

Hi, @jtblues
You are missing the wifi card the antenna wires connect to.
The wifi card goes in that slot on the right side of your first screenshot, and is secured by one or two screws that go into those standoffs across from the slot.
I forgot how many screws held down the wifi card in my old dv6000. You would only need one.

They would connect to a wireless card, not to the motherboard. You want to treat them like jumper cables. Keep them separated and cover the metal connectors with a piece of masking tape or something else to isolate them electrically. Those may well be for the WWAN card option...cellular modem as I see the slot is also set up to take an mSSD card and on these the mini-pcie slot is able to accept an mSATA mSSD or a WWAN cellular modem card.
