Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry! We are in your corner.

I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What seems to be an exact issue with the Graphics card?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Yes it is. I have installed the latest drivers from the hp site. the computer began to work faster, but not as it should, and even began to get very hot. I cleaned the insides of the laptop. changed the thermal paste on the video chip and processor. I do not know what to do. There are no answers to this problem anywhere. I hope at least here to find a solution to this problem.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This seems like a hardware issue with the computer.

Run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic tests to determine whether the computer is functioning properly.

  • 1. Click on Download button and install the latest HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.

    Download

  • 2. After Installation, select Start from your PC, and then under All Apps, select HP Help and Support, then HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows.
  • 3. The app opens to the main menu. Click System Tests.
  • 4. Click the Run Once button and follow the instructions on the screen
  • 5. If the hardware test passed, it indicates there is no Hardware Failure. In case, the test failed, it will display an error code.

The last thing I can suggest trying to restore a computer back to the factory default, which will isolate whether it’s a software or hardware issue.

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi again. I rolled the computer back to factory settings and it did not give any results. Perhaps this problem is really insoluble. Who knows.

perhaps this is a problem with the definition of a discrete card. It kind of works in the task manager, but it doesn't work properly.

perhaps this is due to the bios. I have version 52 installed and I think that this is the case
