HI,

Pinger is an application preinstalled on many HP notebooks. Here I quote HP:

"Pinger: Let your PC handle all your communication with a local phone number, unlimited text messaging to any US/Canada number, incoming calls and voicemail—all for free"

You can uninstall the program as it is definetly not needed. For further information on Pinger here is there Website:

Hope it helps,

David
