Hi:

 

Unfortunately, you cannot add a 2.5" drive in that empty space and the connector you see if for the notebooks that come with the 64 GB eMMC flash drives instead of a M.2 SSD.

The 64 GB eMMC flash drive part that is listed in Chapter 3 of the service manual is what goes to that connector on the motherboard.

 

No 2.5" drive configurations were offered in the model series.
