Product: HP Pavilion dv 2500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Im looking at increasing from 4Gb RAM to at least 6Gb.

 

As per my understanding this laptop only supports up to 4Gb of RAM.

Any advice, would this increase it performance?

You are right, it supports 4GB of RAM max, it is a 14years old machine
