HP Pavilion Mini Desktop - 300-010in
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi!

I want to install M.2 nVme SSD Drive in my "HP Pavilion Mini Desktop - 300-010in". So, my questions are

1) Does it support all type of M.2 SSD card? Can I use the latest M.2 nVme SSD (500 Gb) in this mini desktop?

2) Do you have detailed information of the motherboard? if yes, please provide me.

Thanks in advance

The following link shows specs of your machine

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04555612

It has

  • Expansion Slots:
    • One M.2 socket 1
    • One M.2 socket 3

Socket 3 is designed for SSDs (both SATA and PCIe, up to x4 performance)

Due to it has limited space, you can only use M.2 SSD with length 42mm or 2242 (short length) format. It is very hard to find, now.

Regards.
