- "Docking mode" with USB port replicator?

Is there a way to operate the 15-ba070ng in something like a "docking mode" (although it lacks a docking connector)?
What I mean is: Run it with lid closed, external keyboard connected, and two(!) external monitors connected? From what I read in the internet, one of the HP USB port replicators might enable this, but am not sure about the "lid closed" bit...

I've been running this sort of setup everyday with ONE important thing: USB "dock" must support 2 external monitors or at least have sticker with DisplayLink certified. The following article shows you how
Please note: you MUST open the lid to power your machine first then close the lid. USB dock does not have facility to power laptop when the lid closed.
All my USB docks which I'm using now are from different vendor therefore I won't post here but I've tested the following HP USB dock
Regards.
