Can its battery be charged through USB type c port? At least how many watts of charger will be required? Can I use laptop while charging from USB Type C?

Hello.
Your laptop specifications lists USB Power Delivery ("PD") on the USB C port. So yes, it should work.
Your laptop bottom probably has the input voltages written on it, something like 20V, 3,25A or similar. 19.5 volts is the typical HP barrel plug input requirement; HP laptops powered via USB-C use 20 volts.
The USB charger will need to provide as much power as your current AC adapter provides, whether it is 45W or 65W. Providing power with a higher rated adapter is allowed, so a 100W power adapter will still work as long as the voltage is correct. (too many amps is not a problem, laptop will only use as much power as its power circuitry can handle)
You can use your laptop while charging. If you happen to use a USB charger providing less power than what the laptop requires, it might only charge your laptop when it is turned off or sleeping.
